A few weeks ago, CFAO Mobility Zambia hosted its first-ever forklift training event, bringing together 14 delegates from nine Toyota Forklift customers. Held at the CFAO Mobility Zambia Training Centre on Malambo Road, the training aimed to equip both operators and operations staff with essential knowledge to optimize their forklift operations.
Led by our Technical Trainer, Gabriel Melika, the comprehensive training session covered:
- Different types of forklifts – diesel, gas, and electric
- Key differences between forklifts and stackers
- Daily pre-operation checklists and inspection procedures
- Servicing guidelines and preventative maintenance
- Roles and responsibilities to ensure timely servicing
- Strategies for maximizing forklift efficiency
- Multi-function display orientation and how to interpret the data
The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the practical value and immediate applicability of the training content.
