Toyota Zambia has handed over a cheque worth K315, 340.00 to World Vision to renovate 5 Classrooms at Milando Primary School in Mungwi District of Northern Province on Monday 13th August, 2018.
Apart from the renovating 5 classroom blocks, a Hygiene washroom facility will also be constructed to ensure Girls at the School have an appropriate sanitary facility that will encourage them not to abscond school. This project will also establish classroom libraries stocked with developmentally appropriate materials to encourage both girls and boys participate in library activities in order to promote a reading culture among learners. This initiative will transform the school and make it a model School as it will provide a conducive, safe and dignified learning Environment for all learners especially the Girl Child who will now have a facility that supports their special needs.
Toyota Zambia has also assured the Government of the Republic of Zambia and World Vision that it will continue to work with Partners to implement similar initiatives in various communities in order improve the living standards of citizens of this Country.
